Floating Solar North-Rhine Westphalia (DE)
Solinoor is developing a floating solar park in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany, placed in a former gravel and sand extraction pit. For this project, we are currently in the permitting phase: from zoning plan approval to building permit preparation.
The solar park will have a capacity of 9.2 MW and is fully tailored to supply energy through a combination of local off-takers and grid return. By making smart use of the water surface of the former extraction pit, sustainable energy is generated without placing additional pressure on scarce land resources.
